I have having some issues with my 2001 1.8t. I have NO boost leaks, gauge reads fine, NEW MAF, I have no VAGCOM... But I am boosting only 16 psi on my GIAC X... I used to boost about 22 - 20 and hold 18... But now it peaks to 16 and no higher... Holds around 12-13 psi... I am REALLY needing help with this one! If anyone in the Olympia, WA area has a VAGCOM, please let me know! I will give a 6 pack of your choice for helping!

I am a noob at this stuff, but have you tried to disconnect your N75 from the wastegate?

That's about what my car with a giac-x chip is running as well. Don't have any boost leaks and have a new maf. Once in a while it might hit 21-22psi but for the most part i'm holding 15-16psi. I'm pretty sure I dont have any codes, but it's been a while since I've had a chace to hook it up to a vag-com. If you find out what the issue is let me know.

I'll let ya know... I am getting a new DV because mine is honking anyways... At least I think it is the DV... I am thinking it MAY be the turbo though... I need to get some hemostats to block off the signal to the wastegate... Plus I have a whoppin CAPS time of 9.66... There is just something that ain't right... But on a good note, I am sticking with my wifes Hemi Magnum... It runs a 14.1 and runs it all day long... But I only keep up with her to about 75 mph... Then she rapes me...

Honking DV valve thats your problem right there. It's torn. By the way how do you know you don't have a boost leak? Did you pressure test? If you just did a visual inspection thats not good enough.

Yeah, I let my compressor warm up and set it at 20 psi... I waited about 5 minutes and I guess it bled up to 35 psi! So when I tested, I was testing at 35 psi!! LOL!! But I honestly don't know if it is the DV or not... SOMETHING in that area is honking... It isn't the pankcake valve because that is new... The DV holds good vacuum when testing it...
