    Clicking noise from front brakes

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am getting a clicking noise from the front brake area as soon as I step on the brakes. The problem started right after I replaced the front pads. The pads, rotors and springs are all properly installed. Anyone with any ideas or similiar issues?

what brand pads did you use?

the springs didnt get bent did they?

also, did you use any lubricant on the back of the pads and on the springs?

I had a similar issue with drilled rotors and I quickly removed them.

Not sure of the brand, they were semi metalic from a local parts store. Yes used lubricant on back of pads but not springs. The springs are not bent to my knowledge as they are tight.
