AASCO get their FWs from Unorthodox Racing. In 2004 I installed an AASCO LWFW on my A4 and I could only get that set of bolts/guard ring from UR because they were the manufacturer.

UR markets that flywheel as an "Ultra L" series flywheel:

They are out on Long Island.

not so quick.. I may be wrong too. I'm not sure if Assco or Ur is the original manufacturer.
Regardless, I think that the 2bennett or the Fidanza is a much better choice.

No, Johnny/Geno you're both right. I called UR yesterday to see what was going on and the salesman told me that Aasco makes the flywheels for them. UR is an endseller and markets the parts as the Ultra-L. You cannot buy the flywheels direct from Aasco as single parts. You need to order in bulk so, companies like AWE can do this and that's where the Aasco stamped flywheels come from.

The odd thing is that the guys at Aasco in California told me that UR was the manufacturer several years ago when I called looking for the bolt/ring kit.

Eitherway, UR/Aasco are the same part.
