I recently purchased a 2001 Audi S8, and after hitting the brakes hard, accuating the ABS, the ABS light and the ESP light stays on.* I take it that it means that ABS and ESP are no longer functioning.* (From my research, I believe that if there is an ABS failure that it also triggers an ESP failure.) Questions.1.* Is the ABS and the ESP no longer functioning when this happens?2.* Is this a ABS controller failure?* I heard that this is VERY common in all makes of audis.3.** If this is an ABS controller failure, is this something that I can replace myself as I am "fairly" skilled.* If so, any links to doing this?thanks!
