    its a oneway check valve that goes to your brake booster. It is very common to brake. new they are about 30 to 40 dollars depending on the dealership. What i did was i melted the two parts together and havent had a problem yet.
    2.0 stroker, built aeb head, T3/TO4E t-61 BB F162 .63AR turbonetics turbo, front mount, open down pipe. Port and polished intake manifold. 800cc injectors.

    Yeah a very common valve that will go bad due to dry rotting and heat exposure. If you look around there are more than one in the system so check the rest while your under there to see if any others look like its there time.

    It's called a Check Valve

    I replaced 4 of them about a year ago. I paid $15.00 each at my dealer.

    That is the Check valve like stated above... I broke the suction pump piece (the one under that) on Friday, that I mentioned in your thread about stalling out... ECS to the rescue.. GL on getting her running right again

    thanks guys... i'm ordering from ECS right now... I have the car running right now by using duct tape to hold the piece together. I just cant' boost too much! :-)
