    Engine Cover Pt. II

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Shitty cellphone pics again, but you can kind of get the idea.

I painted the engine cover (again but this time in high heat flat white), Airbox, and all of the caps for washer fluid, power steering, etc. I just need to do the timing belt cover now.

I'm determined to make it look good. It WILL look good. I just need to figure some more stuff out. The good thing is that it's just a cheap little rattle can to test out the look. I can always spray it black again...

    Re: Engine Cover Pt. II

you need more contrast in there. if you had done a CF overlay or paint the rings and 1.8T badge dolphin grey, it might work. In order to make this work you at least a upper intake cover and drivers side rs4 type cover.

I want to see if you can pull this off. I think if you painted the lettering on the cover black it wouldn't look as bad.

Pretty much. Maybe I should just stick to spending money for things haha. I have a body kit planned out. Oettinger front and sides, S4 rear with a piece in development.

Not my style but its unique, I think you need the 3.0 drivers side cover. If you feel like making it fit (1.8t doesn't have the lock carrier tab and coolant tank is missing a tab but a screw and a couple washers could fix that) I have a couple PM me an address and I'll ship u one just to see how it will look in white on your whip.
