Headlight Clearcorner mod for A4 B6- anyone here done it?

while saving up for ECodes - i was thinking of doing this (Clear corner headlight) mod but dont have proper tools and place to do it. anyone here done it?? and willing to lend me a hand - ill buy the beers / or do your laundry (jk about the laundry part) i will drive anywhere with-in the bay to do it.

Never worked on a B6 CC before.

Looking at the DIY, it doesn't look as complicated, just taking off the bumper and dremel away the tab. I had to bake the headlght like a brownie + pop out tab with brute force.

I'd say get someone who has the tools & experience to remove the bumper to help you out and the rest looks really easy.

The bumper doesnt have to come off on the B6. Just three phillips screws that only need to be loosened. Should take about 30 mins per side. Look up the DIY's in the B6 section. Mine were a cake walk.

i know how to take out headlights but never did the CC mod on the B6..did it on my B5 though..it was a bitch to dremel with SMALL ass holes

Mike - i prob just come over 1 weekend and check it out if we can follow the DIY. after my incident on my 3 series E36 - (used to be in the dark side) lost my touch fixing such things.

Yea I saw that too - big thread about it in the B7 forum... Same guy as the thread asking for free parts

Anyways, the CC came out good and I also painted the housing black, I just hope I sealed it back OK too. I'll find out this weekend when it rains.... pic whoring time:
