Finally mounted my ABTs

I've been spending a lot of time on my interior, so I thought I'd post up a few before and current pics of my exterior. I won't say they are after pics, cause I'm not done yet. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.

Before: (In fact, these are the day after I bought the car, as it was getting inspected before good 'ole Uncle Sam shipped it over to the UK)

Current: (Note: I do have an S4 bumper painted and ready to go, but I need a few more bits before I can install it. Oh, and I know. I need coilovers to drop it a bit)

And yes, I do kinda feel like I should get some 19s, but once I drop the car I think it'll look better. I love the offset. And I have a set of 18" BBS RK split rims that are gonna get a makeover next. Add to that the euro trunk and a new hood to replace a few dings, plus some paint touchups, plus a few other tricks. It's gonna be clean. I'm going for an OEM+ look with a bit of custom work.

that euro S4 rear looks nice.
the bottom of the bumper seems shorter as well

Yeah, the shop that installed it should have modified the mounts too, but that's why the diffuser bows down in two spots. I'll probably fix that next week. I'm waiting for Greg to come up with the new carbon fiber diffuser for the S4 bumper too. I hope it's as sexy as I think it's gonna be.

No thanks. I think CF should be used in two ways. Either very sparingly to highlight certain parts of a car, such as a molded CF rear lip with just a strip of it showing through the paint, or a front spoiler lip. Or, the car should be stripped down and everything that can be replaced with CF should be. I think if you go overboard with it, the car looks like a cheap POS. I've seen it several times on BMWs, and a few Audis too. Just not my style.
