Can you block someone from posting in your threads?

If you block someone...are they invisible to you in threads or are they just blocked from PMing you.

if you set people on ignore, their posts will be invisible in your threads. try it.

As Nick said, they can post, but you won't see them (unless someone quotes what they wrote).

But their stuff can still be seen by everyone else? That wouldn't be what I'm looking for if I needed that option (luckily I never have). Then, it's like I could be the butt of someone's joke in my own thread and everyone else sees their post, but since they are "ignored" by me, then I never even knew they were ripping on me unless I piece it together from other's replies.

Correct. What you're looking for is to have the other use be banned, and not simply just on your ignore list.

Ignore will also prevent them from sending you PMs.

I think he just wants the user 'banned' from the thread he makes.
