stasis street/adjusted my height to 25.25 inches

front is 25 1/5 and rear is 25 1/4, ground to fender.

initial install gave me 25 inches but after a couple weeks it had settled to almost 24 3/4. i then readjusted to just above 25 1/4 and it settled to what is mentioned above.

i think it looks a lot better and its very practical on ghetto phoenix roads.

Question here and not to sound like a newb but what do you mean it settled? Are you saying that after a couple weeks the suspension actually got lower from what it was set at? Does this normally happen?

^yes it is normal. the wieght of the vehicle will make the suspension settle lower than what it was the first day it was on.

I kinda figured that but just wanted to double check. Is there a norm for how much it will settle? I'm looking into getting the stasis street sport suspension and I don't want to have to take it off and put it back on because it settled too much.

For the original post, did you put the suspension on straight from the box or did you have it adjusted before it was put on? Stasis states that it presets it's suspension to optimal ride and driveability so I'm just wondering what you set it at.

ride height is not pre set. initial install, it was really really low. we adjusted from there and it settled almost about an 1/8 of an inch. i believe the fronts will settle more because of the weight.

Looks good... Now since its a bit higher I'd get some spacers and make give it a nice mean stance

thanks for the compliments. i was thinking about spacers but im just gonna throw that into my rim fund and just get some nice 19's with an aggressive offset.

Nice job, do you have any guidelines on how to achieve that stance, like how far up from the perch or a measurement of some kind, much appreciated.

i dont, it was just trial and error. basically, i installed them and then marked the initial setting and went from there.

So do u need to get another re-aligment after it settles?

I believe you have to get another alignment after you adjust it no matter what. Since it settled after initial install, I don't think it would be a bad idea to get another one. It would save you money in the long run on tires. This is what I think but I could be wrong. Someone back me up on this.

Re: stasis street/adjusted my height to 25.25 inches

yeah, you're best off driving around on it for a day or two till it settles, re-set it to what you're looking for, let it settle again (we hope by now you got it right), and then take it in for alignment... Make sure the alignment shop gives the car time to settle as well, as many shops will take the weight off the wheels at some point before adjusting.

Re: stasis street/adjusted my height to 25.25 inches

it will only settle once. when its brand new and first installed on the car. after that, adjust it and put it on. it will stay at that height. no need to get 2 alignments. like koolade said, just ride around for a couple days before getting the alignment. a couple days wont hurt the tires that much at all as long as you dont whip it around.
