    1. Quattro in the 2.0T flavor with lower pricepoint
Getting quattro in the past meant the 3.2, which put it close to the A4 Avant in terms of price. Hopefully Quattro won't be an expensive option.

    2. White Driver Info System display standard
Closest simulation to the color cluster, and less pixelization than the standard DIS of the past hopefully. The white monochromatic display will make reading the Navigation instructions much easier, as the red tends to get washed out in bright sunlight.

    3. LED daytime driving lights
Nice to have city lights match the HID bulbs in terms of color temperature. Not clear if the rear tail lamps are LED, although I suspect it will only consist of a strip that is constantly lit rather than active LED brake lamps.

    4. More color options
Lava grey, in my opinion was too dark to the point that it was close to black, and paying extra for this color didn't seem to be worthwhile. The meteor grey should be a nice compromise, and based on the photos I've seen, look almost like the Dolphin Grey.

    5. Magnetic Ride
Nice option to have nevertheless, but I doubt I would order it. Just don't drive the car agressively enough to benefit from it.

    6. Turn signals in the mirrors
Had them on my old C-class. Definetly more visible to opposing traffic.

All I can think of for now. I just wish AOA would make the order guides available already!

1 - sure you get Quattro, but its DSG
3 - In Canada our fogs are DRL's anyway so it dosnt matter
5 - This is a FANTASTIC option, driven the MkII TT with this and its awesome, but I'd never get an A3 with it cause you stuck with stock ride height which blows
    6 - kinda cool, I dig it

    Magnetic ride suspension!

To make it real simple. electro receptive magnetic particles in the suspension. Pass an electric current through it and instand stiffer suspension.

    Its cool, and it works.

wouldnt think so, you might be able to change springs, but I wouldnt want to mess with the system.

It looks like you can lower it with springs: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133973

Re: 2009 options i'm looking forward to...

when will the 2009 cars be available?

I have an R32 and want something with better mpg. I was hoping to get in the S3 (FWIR gets 27mpg avg), but i'm not sure when that will be available to us either...looks like 2010. :(
i'd be happy with the 2.0T A3 Quattro DSG (although 6spd would be soo much better).

the .5" lower ride height with the magnetic ride sounds great. Audi's stock suspensions are far superior than VW's sport suspensions.
it'd also be nice to get a descent Blue color option like that of the S4 & RS4.

Re: 2009 options i'm looking forward to...

i would think the quattro option would cost between $2,100.00 and $3,400.00 given that it costs $2100 to jump from a FrontTRAK A4 to a Quattro A4...manual to manual or tiptronic to tiptronic.
Although the A3 jump would be manual to tiptronic which warrants two price jumps. so...they will probably charge $2100 for Quattro and an additional $1300 for the jump from manual to DSG.
how bout just save us some money and offer Quattro 6-spd. or just don't charge us for the unwanted DSG? :)

    base price will be $29,510.00
