    H&R 10mm spacers finally on!

Alright, so I finally got the correct spacers. I only was able to pick up the rears as the fronts have yet to arrive. I installed them yesterday and took the car for an evening cruise and they drive perfect. Granted they are on the rear, but nonetheless they are good to go.

Since the hubs are prone to gathering rust, I coated all the surfaces that could eventually become rusty with some white lithium grease. I used a wheel brush to take off the rust that had gathered on the hubs before reassembly.

Remember 150mm o.d.. The part number is under note #24 on H&R's site.

be reminded that these were just some really quick pics right after it came off the jacks and before it was driven. I'll get some better today at the Irvine Meet.

Nice pics, thanks! Just need a little drop and you're there man.
I can't remember if you ordered these through ECS or not.

    Looks good!

Just a word of caution: be careful when using grease/anti-seize on wheel bolts and hub mating surfaces. Lug torque should be applied "dry", since grease on threads or mating surfaces can temporarily inflate the torque reading. As the grease squeezes out from the thread and hub mating surfaces, the actual torque will be less.

Did you get longer bolts too?

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I got my torque wrench in the trunk and will recheck after a few miles. I didn't grease the bolts, only the rusty hub and accompanying mating surfaces but will surely recheck my torque settings aftera few miles.

I used longer bolts but they didn't have the little moving ball sockets like the stockers do.

Taking the car to a audi meet this afternoon and the rive should help settle the suspension a little from the lift. I want to lower it but my funds won't permit that mod yet.

Looks good! That's the way it should come from the factory.

lol, when i looked at the pics, i knew that someone was going to chime in on them. It's the lightweight Ping bag, Ping Eye Copperhead's and a Taylor Made Driver. I haven't been out in a while but the last time was with my Dad and I shot a few stroks over Par. Best game to date as I usually hack up the course.

It's so subtle that it is barely noticable. From your other thread, spacers are better than no spacers at all, lowered or not!
