Since you have a 3.0L you are going to want to go with the 2.5L TDI DSMIC setup, here are ETKA screenshots.

You may want to compile a list of the part numbers and check with VAG parts...I cannot imagine everything being less than $1900 USD

Not likley this setup would even work if you are planning on installing a PES supercharger

Am I missing something? An "intercooler" for a N/A engine?

Re: OEM DSMIC for the B6?

There is no FMIC or DSMIC that would work with the 3.0 without extensive modifications to the PES supercharger.

The reasoning behind this is that the PES supercharger attaches ditectly to the engine, with the compressed air going directly into the intake ports. To make a FMIC work, you would need to raise the supercharger up, run some piping and what not...not a great idea.

You could do a air/water setup very similar to the Ford Cobra, this would take a bunch of machine work too though.

I've seen those under intake outlets for an FMIC on a V-6 car, it's like a manifold under a manifold.

You are going to need an air to liquid aftercooler. It is just too bad that nobody makes one for an Audi 3.0L yet.

Side note, if "global warming" is so serious, why did they change the name to "climate change"?

Re: OEM DSMIC for the B6?

Some places get hotter, some places get colder, some places get drier, some places get wetter, almost all places have different weather patterns (longer/shorter/more intense storms, longer/shorter seasons, etc) that contribute to this. Thus, "climate change."

That said, all this climate change is presumably due to an OVERALL increase of the Earth's total AVERAGE temperature (hence the term "global warming") which therefore affects weather patterns, which affects all the things in the paragraph above.
