boost level depends on what you set the MBC to, I'm running 26psi on mine . and 60ft times are all driver it has nothing to do with power

meth starts spaying on low at 5psi and goes to full at 15psi. no i never ran my car at the 1/4 yet still have to get a few final things up and running so i can run it at full potential

wow that is a deal for someone looking for an elim setup. Throw in a clutch and the driver mod and you should be good for ~12.80's at around 105-7.

yeah there is. I have a few It was at the German invasion event my quickest time was like 14.1 @ 95mph I think the 60 ft was high 1.8's but I was having the same problems I am having now. I retarded timing ~6 degrees because I was pulling max timing. after I decreased timing the overall timing was around 1-3 degrees the whole run so i don't think my car was a good representation of what it can really do.

what does everyone suggest for a clutch setup like this for a 01 a4 awm? I have a friend who has been looking for an all exclusive setup just like this but might as well upgrade the clutch now.

for a daily driver with launching it like 1 time a year. go with the southbend OFE stg 4 clutch.

but if you're wanting to launch the car more often. go with the FE stg5 clutch from southbend.

im actually in the process of upgrading from stg 4 to stg 5 so i can launch the car more without issues

It's not apples to apples, but I'm "launching" my car(K03, Uni 1+) at AutoX almost every weekend w/o any issues. All I have is a Spec Stg2+ and LWFW.

I've heard from a couple people that the GTRS w/ a decent driver is good for 13's all day. (properly tuned and supporting mods)

the stg "x" means nothing really.

the difference between the OFE stg 4 and the FE stg 5 is the disk.

the OFE is ferrous on one side and an organic material on the other. which is great for longevity and such. but the organic side doesn't handle heat to well. so it's easily glazed and/or fused to the pressureplate if spun to much.

the FE disk is ferrous on both sides. it wears a bit faster but handles heat much better than the ogranic material

I'm talking about holding the revs @ ~2700 or so, then going WOT and releasing @ 3300 or so.
From what I've heard that's one of the better ways to get out of the hole with a K03 equipped car.

It's still up in the air if I'm going to the on that list of buyers of this kit. I'm just scared about the bottom end, being that it has over 160K on it.

yes, it's one of the better ways to launch your k03 car. but slipping the clutch like that is KILLING IT! and especially if you have the OFE stg4. that thing will glaze 90% of the time.

and you're motor will be ok. just check your compression first. hopefully your at at least 150+psi for all cyllinders.. if not, then i would look into that..

because as long as your motor is running properly, and you have a good tune(uni would fall into this catagory) you'll be fine. plenty of guys with elim kits and 150+k miles

I don't slip it much. The only reason that I do is because I already broke both rear CV's and both rear Diff mounts. That was the time I lauched it @ ~2900 w/ no slippage.

I have all the parts shown above with (elimi 71r) and didn't manage to get 400hp, I ran 240awh at the unitronics dyno. Could someone explain to me what differant 034 uses? I would love to get 400hp out of the same setup.

12.9 w/a 1.8 60ft time is 400hp my man. there's no difference hardware wise. and shouldn't be tuning wise either. unless you have a REALLY old file? but dyno's always read differently. take their numbers with a grain of salt.

I have a time slip showing the car I purchased ran 12.7 in 1/4 mile as far as i know on pump gas with apr stage 3 kit (gt28r) The dyno graphs I have also from the car show around 300hp not sure if thats to the wheels or crank. The only thing different this car has that no one else really does is the s4 tranny and rear diff. does it really make that much of a difference?

That would be 300chp on a race gas tune. To make that or run 12.7 on pump with that setup it would need a nice shot of nitrous.


The S4 trans isn't going to make a huge difference at the drags.
