i would think that 'yes' the engine will make it over here. VW is releasing a 2.0 turbo diesel in august with 170 hp 236 tq in there sportwagen. Audi will start with there 3.0 turbo diesel in the q7 or q5. But it looks like most car manufacturers are being encouraged to go green an release high mpg engines and it seems like deisel is the answer.

yet diesel is 40 cents a gallon more than 93 octane atleast here in NC anyway
