interesting combo for the S4 bumper

browsing through my pictures i stumbled on this one, i never noticed it before but he modded an A4 lower valence onto his S4 bumper.

anyone have more pics of it from the side ?
it looks like it fits really well, but looking at it from the side might be too low compared to the body line

i like that kind of custom work

I don't like it for two reasons. One it was not meant for that so it looks dumb. Two why would you need it to be that low. S4 is low enough let alone with a drop and that its going to hit everything. I have seen someone mod a a4 bumper to look like a s4 by shaving it and cutting out the middle and that looked sweet. Sort of a s4 look without truly being a s4 bumper.

I like it, it makes it stand out a bit from any other s4 bumper and it makes it look a bit more aggressive.

Maybe if he actually molded it into the S4 bumper but why make a 1 piece bumper look like a 2 piece.

yeah its differant and differant is good i kinda like it like mike said I woulda molded it together to keep the one piece bumper.

I wouldnt mold it because it would be ripped to shreds, but I think it looks good, although I would like to see side shots, the a4 lip curves downward on the sides, possible making it look like it is tilted up on this example.

Most likely cut it. Odd thing is the plate still belongs to the state so he could get a ticket for destroying GOV property.

It is still attached to the S4 bumper the way it is so its going to get ripped to shreds either way. The mod was most likely done for the looks and if thats the reason shouldn't it "look" the best it can?

Who actually cuts the shit out of their license plate and keeps it mounted on the front of the car!?

All I see is rock chips everywhere, Ebay head lights, A nasty grill, Ugly intercooler piping that at least could be covered if it had the normal mesh bumper grills, and an ugly front lip attached to the bottom of an s4 bumper.

i think it looks pretty cool. if i hadn't repainted my bumper recently i would've attempted the same thing.
i just like the way it flows with the bumper lines.
