99.5 A4 Avant rear wiper removal

I have searched, I have read the tech notes on Audiworld and AZ, but they do not explain how to specifically remove the metal gear arm on the yellow disk nor the wiper arm on the rear windshield. Can anyone explain in detail. I have tried "Remove the metal gear assembly by pushing on the mount for the wiper." but fail to recognize what the exact mount is.

    Thanks in advance.

if there is a way to search through my old threads, i started one that eventually found the answer i seeked. it IS on here somewhere, but definitely hard to find. and it wasn't fun to get off either.
in short: take apart everything you can from outside, but then you have to do the fun part, which is prying off the inside panel of the hatch. you pop out a couple of screws, 2 on the sides and 2 under the handle if i'm not mistaken, and just start popping. then do work from the inside.

thanks for the response, I tried all of that but I had a feeling that the wiper arm had corroded to the motor on the inside of the hatch. I pulled as hard as I could until I felt that I would break something and yet it still didn't come loose.

But that is on the back burner for now as the car was just side swiped by a tanker truck on Friday.
