Great car! Good luck with the sale in this Audi forum. The only thing I have against you is why would you machine polished the car when it's this new??? your paint is not that thick at all and every time you polish it, you're taking a bit part of the paint. It's understandable that people love to have their car with no scratches whatsoever but polishing too much is doing more harm than good. It's a car, scratches are normal!!! I have seen tons of people go crazy on their car after learning a few things only and have no clue what kind of harm they are doing in the long run.

I've only polished this car 4 times. . . . . I'm aware of the clear coat thickness and over polishing issues, but thank you.

Welcome to the world of "you get nothing back from most mods".

Your car is worth about $37k private party. Go look online - there are plenty with way less mileage than yours for $10k less.

Switch it back as close to stock and sell all your mods and wheels, and you'll likely end up with a lot more in your wallet.

Have you tried out bimmerpost.com yet? I stop there often and I'm sure there will be guys who is going to jump on this right away. Modded cars can/should only be sold to people who actually know to appreciate the work done.

BTW, give us some of your opinion on why you are selling this car and switching to Audi too. It probably won't help you to sell the car up here, however, people over here sure know others who are looking to purchase cars like yours.

This isnt an auto trader car or something you'll see sitting at "Bob's used car lot."

Im not marketing this towards a normal buyer. This car and the price it's set at, requires an enthusiast who can appreciate what it is. I could care less about someone looking for a "deal." Your purchasing a car that is done and finished.

I want an Ibis white B7 S4 and start working my modification magic on it.

My plans for it would be:

19'' BBS LM Championship Edtions + Michelin sport PS2's, Potenza RE-01R's, or Conti sport 3's

    Bilstein PSS9 coilovers

    H&R anti sway bars

Milltek sport non resonated full exhaust

some GIAC work for throttle reponse

Titanium Edition RS4 or S4 side mirrors. . . . or atleast paint the stock S4 mirrors matte gun metal or something like that.
light tint, gloss black window trim, gloss black outer front grill with matte black inner grill, . . . .and some other light cosmetic stuff.

Does that sound ok to you guys haha?

I'm on E90post, which is apart of Bimmerpost so its all good. I still need to list it on Cars.com, Auto trader.com, ebay, m3forums.net, 6speedonline, and bimmerfest.com

I'm selling it because I need to move out and live on my own and I'm going away for school. . . probably. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to buy a B7 S4 though, and thats what I'm shooting for.

You're asking $6k under the MSRP of a brand new V8 M3. And yours is a used car with 23k miles on it. Most (and I know this is a generalization) enthusiasts wouldn't go with an auto.

It's a beautiful car, don't get me wrong. But we see the same thing here with some S4 owners saying "no way, my car is worth X." It's not. Cars both with and without mods - generally - sell for the same price (not counting Stage 3 S4's).

But maybe you'll get lucky and find someone who's looking for that car with those exact mods. Hell, that Nuggy Blue Tip s4 Avant just went for $21k (and was asking 23), and no one thought it ever would. But I'd argue it was much more rare.

I'll just shut up now...I didn't mean to hijack your FS ad. It's a great looking car.

With another of my old track buddies having just went through the consideration of the M3 vs Cayman S, I was just shocked at your asking price, that's all.

    Good luck.

Wow, beautiful car. Great taste in mods on the 335 and future mods to the s4.

Nice photography too...the whole car looks gunmetal in the first pic.

You do not need to post a price. IMHO it's much better not to because haters will thread crap unless you give it to them for a quarter and a 6-pack of PBR..... People who are serious about buying the car will inquire for a price and go from there.

Switch it back as close to stock and sell all your mods and wheels, and you'll likely end up with a lot more in your wallet.

I have to agree. Otherwise, it may take some time to find a buyer who wants to pay for all the mods you chose. Especially with the auto. Good luck though and nice looking car.

In full disclosure I just wanted to direct any potential prospective buyers looking to possibly buy this car to a couple of additional threads about this auto:

    http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93596
    http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141717

It appears as though it is currently without a warranty, as it's on BMWNA's blacklist, and has been in a significant accident. I personally think the seller should have disclosed this important information himself.

enough of joking around. I think we should let him sell the car. It wasn't that big of an accident anyways. The only visual damage from my view was the pumper and a little to the hood but that should not effect the performance of the car in anyways. This is a tuned up car --> no buyer should expect the previous owner didn't not race/void his warranty with all the mods he did (especially, the first mod that many people do is to upgrade their ECU)

unfortunately, the seller should have fully disclosed the incident with the car, but seeing that if one is tryly interested in the vehicle, a complete carfax should be performed prior to buying; the onus is on both the buyer and seller to cover their bases prior to making a purchase such as this.

Of course man, I would never try to rip off someone or keep important information like this away from them. Thats why I will fix these issues, and once I do, will most likely sell the car.
