    Hello all.

I'm considering the purchase of a TT and I had a few questions about fuel consumption between the various models ...

First, do all the TT's use premium fuel? ... even the 6 cyl.?

What do you typically get for MPG? ... specifically for what year, engine, transmission, stock/not stock (if not, what mods), and lastly type of mpg (ie city, hwy, combined) - for example:

'03 225hp 6mt stock (no mods) combined - xx mpg

    Thanks!

You're gonna have to use 91-93 octane or w/e is the highest possible octane around your area. You'll see anwyehre from 18-24 city, depending on how conservatively you drive. And you'll want to drive like a grandma and stay out of boost for the best mileage
I was lost, and I'm still lost...but I feel so much better

    Re: fuel questions

    I have a Stage 2 TTQC (MTM, Borla, intake). I get 22 city, 30+ hughway @ 70mph.

ALL require use of premium fuel. It's a performance car. I know of a Mk2 3.2 6MT that made 30+ on long-distance coming from CT.

YMMV- how loud you make the loud pedal affects mileage.
