very good news for you guys, indeed. i run Revo BT software on my B6 and it's as smooth as butta. seriously, super easy to tweak, with the SPS3 controller(highly suggested purchase), and everytime i log it under different settings it's always spot on.

Was done by Nick himself. Customer just got it installed but says the car runs great but for some reason its not hitting requested boost so he thinks his N75 valve is bad, he was having a low boost issue with his K03 before the GTRS install. He will most likely post up once he gets the boost issue fixed, then after he gets a new clutch we plan on putting it on a dyno to see what type of numbers it makes. He said that even while only making 1300 mbar(about 7psi) of boost it feels quicker then his Xchip K03 when it was running 100%.

Same as the B6 BT tune $699. Not sure but its most likely any size turbo that is close to a GTrs elim.

    Who is Nick? Revo engineer?

So was the tune done on the customers car? Or on a different car, then the customer got the same file?

Pretty sure Nick is the main guy from Revo in the UK. The file was sent to Chris in the states and then to the guys at Eurocode. They said this is the first stage 3 file for the 2001 CH box they have done, they also stated that they just did a stage 2 file for the same ecu just a few weeks before but but not a stage 3 file at that point.

Why does revo need 667cc/min of fuel? Unitronic runs 440cc at 4 bar which is around 510cc/min. I guess they just want an ultra low duty cycle but I dont see even 510cc/min being maxed out. Is it tuned with the stock MAF and housing?

Yes it still runs the stock maf sensor/housing.

They used to tune for 440cc injectors on their old tune but have moved up to 550's, why I dont know. But if you look at the GT28r setups most of the tuners used 440cc injectors on a 4 bar for a setup that only makes 260-300 chp.

Now look at the 2001 K04 hammer file, it is tuned for 380cc injectors. I also think they use those same injectors on B6's just for a K03.

Tuners just do what they do because they feel like thats what is best.

There are even people running 630cc injectors on 28 series turbos. I also think there are guys running 800cc injectors on 30's. I guess its better to go bigger to allow more room for the customers to push the turbos futher then what the tuners tuned the files for.

Shouldn't make a difference. I am just told that the Revo BT software was done for a CH box, not sure if it will work in the M but I will see if they can ask Revo.

Re: It has come to be

Been a while but time for an update. The N75 has been replaced and the customer says the car is running very strong now. He will also be doing a new post soon. So this now means the 2001 BT Revo file is ready for the public. We also hope to have the car on the dyno in about 3 weeks after it gets an upgraded clutch, also plan on taking it to the drags.

Re: It has come to be

Guys, just came back from eurocode. Car is running awesome. You can really start feeling the car pull at around 3200rpm's , especially from 3rd all the way up to 5th gear. Another important note is that it's running super smooth and car is just running very strong in general and I have a feeling it's due to the bigger 550cc injectors that they are now using on the revo tunes. I'm still in the middle of my final thesis for architecture school but will get to the clutch and manifold in a few weeks, and then have mike launch the crap out of my car at the tracks. I would definitely suggest taking a serious look at this file if you're thinking of going gtrs, or currently running another file. Not to mention, you'd be one of the few ones with the b5 revo gtrs tune. I'll try to get dynos up when clutch is done.

btw, I believe that they already have a b5 revo tune out for the M box. At least, that's what I was told. It was the CH that hasn't been done before but the car is running great now so definitely talk to mike or the Sarkus at eurocode (www.ecodetuning.com) to purchase.
