    C pillar removal??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
How do you remove the C-pillar cover on the back door? I removed the inside cover and the one hex bolt but it is still not coming off. Is there something else holding it on or is there a certain way it has to come off.

    Any help, would help ..........

    Re: C pillar removal??

I pulled the black cover off and removed the hex bolt from behind, but it still will not come off. My windows are rolled up because my battery is dead. Once I get the windows rolled down I will play with it and see if it will come off. I was told that I might have to remove the window frame but a friend of mine said he got some out of a junk yard and he didn't have to remove the window frame, but he forgot exactly how he got them out. He did tell me the window has to be rolled down.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and had more specific instructions. If I get them off with the window rolled down, I'll write up a little DIY for future reference.
