so i took off the 19s and the knocking sound is back again when im starting turning in 1st. the sound is coming from the rear 2 wheels, somewhere back there, its not healthy and thumps more as i accelerate, disappears after like 15mph. its not something like a wheel bearing and its loud, ideas?

Same here on stock 16 inch rims, I notice it BIG time at a local intersection w/stop sign. I'm stopped on the hill making a left at the intersection when the noise is it's loudest, but still hear it otherwise just not as loud.

    Re: knocking from the rear!!

I get this also. Its like a "thump, thump, thump" on acceleration (normal driving) till like 15mph. Anyone? I thought it was my rear springs moving when i take off. I only noticed it after my suspension install about 1yr 3mths ago..lol

    Re: knocking from the rear!!

I get the exact same thing, and I've asked about it on a couple of different forums, including this one. I don't think it's drivetrain, I'm thinking wheel bearings or CV boot or axle. Someone has to have some input on this, cause I cut that midget's throat and bled him like a stuck pig...
