Cheap Tires for A4 lease

I have 20K for miles on my 2007 Audi A4 and I have to turn it in in Dec 08 (24 month lease) but my OEM tires (Conti) are almost bald and I know you have to have newer tires when turning in a lease or they will charge you. What is the cheapest tires I can put on my car (235/45R17) until I turn in my lease? I don't want any expensive tire since it is only a lease. Tires Plus has the Riken Raptor for $410 including mounting and balance with tax. Is this a good deal or is ther a better deal out there? Help please?

That's a good price. Hankook Ventus HRII H405 are inexpensive but nice tires. Discount Tire Direct has them for $92.00 a pop. By the time you do mounting and balancing though it will cost more than what you are getting quoted. I'd go for it.

Be aware that they sometimes want the spare to match! Do a search on here for pre-inspection lease turn ins.

And tires are very important, just ask Ford. I am not advocating to buy the best, but get a name brand tire with the appropriate load rating. My Sumitomos were cheap (under $100 per) and did not start making noise until 20K miles. They have been a pretty good tire in wet and dry, just getting real noisy about half way through.

so today I went to discount tire and got the Kumho AST for $380 includ tax, and balance. Hopefully they work out....I heard more bad things about Riken Raptors...
