I have an ebay special that fits fine behind the bumper. I got it here in the classifieds for 170 shipped no problems at all so far.

RaceTec do one and if you have a look in the GB section you may get a good deal.

Re: FMIC with Stock bumper options

I have the RaceTec and it was pretty easy to get in. Only a slight amount of trimming was needed. This cost me around $750 when it was on sale at the time.

I've since drilled holes (unnoticeable) in the valance to take care of that bulge.

Racetec is your best bet, but they still dont have any in stock yet. Most likely will be right around the first of next month.

+1 for racetec, good fit, minimal trimming and it retains the fogs.

Re: FMIC with Stock bumper options

Here is my Greedspeed FMIC, High quality piece, custom piping though, but I am still going to redo them to tuck in more, PITA to put the bumper bolts in, have to push on the pipes.

Seriously it took about 10 hours of custom work and such to get it to fit. Lots of trimming.

But IMHO its worth it, I dont like people (including cops) to know what the heck is in there...

Also for you black paint haters, on the fins it is literally a mist of paint just to get rid of the polished look, I scuffed it up and it sticks great! High temp engine paint.

Re: FMIC with Stock bumper options

I've always wondered, does painting/powder coating/anodizing/or in other ways colouring an FMIC black cut down on efficiency at all?
I would think logically that it would be a little harder to dissipate heat if the metal isn't directly exposed to the air, no?

Anodizing does not decrease efficiency since it does not coat the surface.

I think when it comes to a black intercooler it theoretically would spread all the heat evenly across the entire surface which is ideal on an intercooler. If the thing was dipped in black then no it probably wouldnt be very effcient but otherwise black is the best color for cooling

ALSO, who sells racetec? i cannot find them on anything.
