    Another FMIC thread

I'm going to get a front mount soon. There's been a few issues leading up to this, and now I'm serious about getting one.
In the next 1-2 years the biggest this car will get on it is a GTRS elim., but for now I'm rockin a chipped K03.(TBE, 034 mounts, LWFW, Stg2+ clutch, Uni Stg1+)

eBay FMIC setups have worked for others on similar setups, but what are you guys doing about the DV/BOV? This is where my current issue taking me, my ghetto ass repair for when my recirc hose hit the belt...

I have the 034 Silicone FMIC hoses, seen in this LINK, but that was when I had a BT ready, but never installed since I lost my job.
After searching, I think I should run 2" pipes for now, so the 034 hoses I have are "too big". I've seen the CXR/Just-intercoolers deals, which doesn't look bad, but what do I do w/ the DV and the recirc?

If need be I can have just about anything welded here in town, I just need to know exactly what I need. Brackets and such is not an issue either.

    Thanks

the 034 hoses are not too big... You get a better DV and hook it up? Dont run a BOV especially with an AEB car

    Re: Another FMIC thread

The 034 hoses already have a spot for a DV and its right around the stock location so you just install the bpv there and still use your return hose that you have now. The GTRS will not sit exactly in the stock spot but will be kind of close. If you dont want to use the hoses you could always try to sell them if you end up ordering a FMIC kit that is designed just for the A4 1.8t.

    Re: Another FMIC thread

I know they've got the spot for the DV, which is pretty much the same spot I have it now. I just don't see any pics of anybody's recirc line.

I haven't gotten under the car to check fitment of the hoses to the stock turbo.
What adapters and such will I need to use these hoses then? I know I need at least the one 75* pipe for the "cold" side to the throttle body.

I just want to do it right the first time. Mike, if you got what I need, lemme know. I'm planning on getting a core elsewhere, unless you've got something around the size I need, for a decent price.

That's the hose that hit my A/C belt. So I relocated my DV down next to the frame rail right on top of that hose. My shady repair for the recirc hose from the DV to the TIP is what I need to get a permanent fix for.

I can't remember what size the 034 hoses are. I'll have to check this weekend when I get them back out of storage.
