did u take apart the headlight to do yours? i did mine by popping the reflector out of place through the blinker bulb socket, then unscrewed the projector lens and wiggled the housing until it fell out. either way it looks nice

Did you "bake the light" or do the "break apart" method?

I've been meaning to do this myself, but I just cannot seem to get "balls" to do it..

I did not bake it, I used the break apart method and it wasn't as easy as it seems in the DIY mod I found on audiworld. My headlight is slightly bigger than the one in mod and it took me about 5 hours to complete. I didn't take apart the bumper and they is a fouth torx screw that is not mention in the mod. Anyway I'm pretty happy with the results.

yea me too, i didnt really want to bake it or anything. its pretty easy if u remove the headlight from the car. takes about 5 mins after the headlight is removed

I did remove the headlights and I thought of removing the projector housing but it had some nuts that I couldn't reach. Audirs do your lights have the HIDs on them?

yea they do. couple of the nuts were kinda hard to get at. i used a socket wrench with a thin extension to get to it. i couldnt get the lens out of the housing for some reason, so i just moved it to the side and wiggled lol

i did the headlight take apart route. I painted my housings black. The DIY link is in my sig.

Asix, this off the subject but where did you get your exhust tips? Or is that a completely new setup?

I got my exhaust done at this small hole-in-the wall exhaust shop in Bellevue, Washington. They are magnaflow tips and i also got a resonator. Not sure the exact part number...but it sure does sound pretty beefy with the 2.7T
