    Coil pack question

    I need to replace my coil packs when i go to ecs i see coil pack conduit and coil packs. My question is how many coil packs do i need to buy, and will i need to buy new conduit as well ? plus how do i uninstall/install the coil packs

    I believe you'll need to VAG the car to see which CP is bad. Once you determine that, the write up below should help.

    Further to this, is the conduit just the red plastic that surrounds the wires? If so, one of mine is busted so I might pick one up.

    I believe the conduit is just a red shell. I'd love to know how yours got "busted up".

    You could spend the $160+ for all new coil packs or you could VAG the car and only replace the one that went.
