Killer MPH, my best time in the 1/8th was around 8.3 seconds @ 84 mph. I think your car will make mad power up top and has low 12 second potential.

To kind of put your 1/8 mile time mph in perspective Charlies car went 8.071 seconds @ 87 mph when it made the 12.63 pass

Re: Ran the ole' girl at the 1/8 mile tonight

How does that 1/8 compare with other 12sec b6s?

    I know my 12.1 run was with 7.8 @ ~ 94MPH @ the 1/8th

Not bad.....(not that i can compare at all ) I would have "thought: you were capable of a lower time....

Also, didnt David run a 8.1 on his 12.75 run with his GTRS?

    The MPH are killer though

Re: Ran the ole' girl at the 1/8 mile tonight

It still feels like it has much more in her. Spinning that much is at least 2 tenths. I could feel it getting loose. Also, I'm just getting into third and out of the up top powerband. I only ran it 3 times. A few more times I think she'd go 7.9

Re: Ran the ole' girl at the 1/8 mile tonight

60 ft is good (you can launch the car). You are slighly handicapped at the short end of the track because your car revs so high but once you get into third there will be more load on the motor and you will make power.

The nice thing is that you will be able to use all of fourth and not have to shift into fifth.

It really gets going at the top of third. FWIW, I had 3/4 a tank of 93, 26psi., T6, and straight tap water.

Did you get the boost falling off problem fixed? Was it due to the gasket?

My best in the 1/8th is 8.15 @84mph

How is that track? I didn't even know there was a track in Lakeland even though it's only 1/8 mile

Still losing boost and didn't replace that gasket, can't go to the quarter until the house is finished (no time) and don't know on tire pressure, it really doesn't matter on street tires I assume about 28psi.

^ it does matter, even on street tires..... It made a huge difference for me, but 28 psi is not too bad.

Did you just shift into 3rd at the finish line? Just remembering your video doing 110-115 range in 3rd and I can only do like 90 so I was thinking your second would be so damn close to the finish maxing it out.

You are gonna pick up so much more mph when that boost doesnt fall 9psi, im thinking you should trap around 113-114mph in the 1/4 with the boost fixed

Yes, when I did the video I was already in third and when running it on the 1/8 I had to shift into 3rd about 3/4 track. And I have yet to put in the trans mount.
