    How to tell a k03 from k04?

    A friend of mine bought a b5 parts car in Atl, GA. Car is black/black with 18" black rims, neuspeed cat back, short shifter, godspeed fmic, ecu is gone. Still have the turbo intack how do i tell if its possibly a k04? Fins/#'s??? Help!

    I always thought it was stamped on the actual turbo housing.

    You can also look at the inlet blades. The K03 has "paired" looking blades while the K04 has a more normal looking evenly spaced blades.
