    Feeler, what's it worth?

I have a 2000 Santorin 6 spd with about 84k on it. It is in excellant shape for a 8 year old vehicle... It has never been modded... It has 18in Flik justice wheels and the oem w/winter tires. I had a RS4 clutch put in last may. The belts have not been done yet. Car is in Metro Detroit and has all sorts of service complete (all of the normal stuff that goes wrong was taken care of). It also has new ebc rotors and Hawk pads on the front/back. I am relocating to Maryland and no longer need the vehicle... Was wondering if anyone would be interested or what you thought it would be worth. I owe 14.5 on it so if there are any offers close to that I would seriously consider. Thank you for your input...

10k I'll need to put money into it to meet normal condition, if belt needs to be changed. then it'll make its value. Ya it sucks being left those outrageous payments left. Then the dealer only offers you like 8,500 or less on a trade in. So your stuck with a $4000 difference left to pay. Car, worth investment ever.

I think it is worth more than 10k.. I see them locally here in detroit selling for 12k with over 100k on them.. Thanks for the input though

You may see cars LISTED for $12k or more with 100k, but they don't sell for that.

Working against your value is both the year and the maintenance. I bought a 2001.5 (no F-Hose) with basically the same mileage as yours, but it had belts and pumps done, clutch and tranny rebuild, etc. And I paid about a grand LESS than you owe.

Another thought might be to offer to split the belt/wp job with someone. For your $500-750 portion, you might be able to get way more than as-is.

    Re: Feeler, what's it worth?

If you send me pictures, and the car looks better than average for its year, then maybe I can offer you 9000. However, it needs work, so how can you expect 2 grand over its value. At the auction last week a 2001 satorin blue S4 with 74000 miles, went for 12000. And that was still a lil high from what a couple dealers said. I'm sorry but your going to lose money. Cars are teh worst investment. You have to take a hit. Unless you want to sell it next year when the value is going to drop even more. I'd advise you to sell the car as is for under 10, because it'll cost you a considerable amount to fix it. Then you'll lose even more money. Or, you can do what rick said. But, U have my own shop connections, therefore, I can buy as is.

I totally agree. STFU and quit bitching . Doesn't sound like you can afford a S4. I'm dropping over 6k in mine next week. Either go get a job and make some real money or go get a f'n honda civic.
