Avant to Sedan suspension swap

Does the s-line avant suspension match up with the sedan s-line suspension? Thank you!

My guess would be "no". Avants are a little bit heavier than the sedans, and companies like Eibach have Avant specific springs leading me to believe that there is a difference.

What about coilovers? Don't they just sell one set for the sedan and the avant. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I am purchasing a 2008 s-line suspension however it came off of an avant and I want to make sure that it is the same s-line suspension that comes on the sedans.

I know that KW sells two different sets of V3 coilovers.
One for s4 sedan and one for s4 avant. They have different spring rates.

S4 (B6) Wagon, Convertible, Quattro 3/03-(B6) 10-40/10-40
0.4-1.5/0.4-1.5 2195
Spring rates (lbs/inch or Progressive Spring): Front=830 / Rear=P

S4 (B6) Sedan, Quattro 3/03-(B6) 10-40/10-40
0.4-1.5/0.4-1.5 2295
Spring rates (lbs/inch or Progressive Spring): Front=830 / Rear=470

Oh ok. I guess the avant s-line suspension is different than the sedan then. I guess I'll have to back out of my purchase. Thanks for the info.

the suspension with 'fit' on both. but like mentioned, some companies have particular spring rates for each, slightly stiffer for the avant's added weight. and some others like the stasis streetsports, iirc, have the same part # for both. so, depends on what/who you are buying.
