B6'er thinking about moving to a B5S4 Avant - pearl 6spd impossible to find?

I'm thinking about selling my B6 A4 and my 1990 Coupe Quattro and finally getting a "fast" Audi. My latest infatuation is with a pearl white 6spd S4 avant with black/silver alcantara. I'm not positive that combo even exists and I certainly haven't seen any for sale with that combo. Can anyone confirm it's available or even better, point me in the direction of one for sale? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm finding that out. I always seem to gravitate towards the rare color combos. My Ming Blue A4 w/ black leatherette, 5spd and the sport package was a bitch to find, too.

here are a couple of my car for your viewing pleasure. only 22 of these pearl avants exist in the US. good luck finding one. not trying to be a dick, im really wishing you luck. they are beautifull cars. i was offered 28k for it and declined 3 months after i bought it for 23k. =)

I think your CRAZY! I do not think the S4 should be put in the "fast" conversation. My best friend just lost $ 7000 on his 2007 S4 Avant as he traded it in on a 2008 M3. this was after he spent $ on Milltek exhaust and intake. When I had my 2.0 avant (APR modded out) I ran with him close enough to make him trade it in. Don't get me wrong, I love Avants but check yourself considering gas prices vs. performance. I can also tell you his S4 with intake and exhaust sounded AWESOME, I wish it was as fast as it sounded. I am thinking about waiting til the S3 or TDI 2.0 Avant gets to the states in less than 2 yrs, both should kick the S4's ass.

let me correct myself if your considering the B5 S4 Avant! If that is the case, great pick but best of luck finding a clean one. If you do, grab it!

being that my stage 2 1.8t is the peppiest car I've ever owned, even a stock S4 is quick to me. My goal is to go stage 3 and I'll likely pick up a honda accord or something to commute in.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the B6S4 at all...love the body style, hate the V8.

There was a Pearl B5 S4 Avant for sale locally at an audi dealer, but it was auto :(.

well if its that what you are after and there are only 22 in the country, here are your options..

1. keep searching until you finally find one of the 21 left, assuming they are not wrecked and/or meet your quality requirements.

2. if you find one in auto, pick that up and convert it to a manual, interior could also always be easily swapped if its non-sport.

3. pickup an s4 avant in a similar color, strip it, and have it completely painted.

4. pickup an a4 wagon, hopefully find one in casa, pickup a wrecked s4, and do the conversion. this could be the cheapest, and allow you to really do it how you wish..

personally, I'd love to get a b7 a4 wagon and drop a 2.7t into it.. now that would be sexy! [O_O]

Option 1 is the only one I would consider, otherwise I'll somehow learn to live with a black or pearl sedan. The only reasons I really want an avant are to have something for the dog to ride in and just because they're so rare.

Good luck man.......It took me 5 months to find my B5 sedan with a sport interior. And I didn't care about the exterior color. Oh yea, and I had to have it shipped from Washington state to Maryland. These cars are getting extremely hard to find in good condition.

Funny when I was looking for mine pearl white and imola were the two colors that were on the bottom of the list and I would pass on. Just hope there are more people that think like me lol....

I've been looking for same thing but it's impossible to find one...I found one but in AUTOMATIC and black leather...
Automatic def. is no go, and sport interior def. is preferred...
I decided to get my friend's dark dark blue...(not sure what it's called) S4 for cheap...but it needs clutch and tie rod ends...and many other stuff...not happy with the color...but what can i do...
it's a lot easier to find ones in Nogaro Blue...And any wagon with sport interior is impossible....did they even make one??? maybe they didn't...or maybe you should get custom leather...

Pearl even in a sedan is gonna be hard to find...I just saw a pearl sedan on the highway today for the first time ever. I never liked that color in pictures, but in person damn it was pretty sexy.

to you guys with the pearl avants.......lucky bastards
