    Because of you!! AZ guys

Hi everyone. Just want to share of what is going on with my car. Throw alot of money in this last winter. here's some pics.

The kit is derated to 500 crank hp since i'm still stock internal for now, but we never know what could hapen the next year ''rods''?
there's still some more work to do on tha car ''control arms, shocks, engines and tranny mount and need to figure how to cut shrouds for new intercoolers.''

It's a kit. Mine took long time since they never did it with tip. So they needed to make matrix and pathern for other tip kits with my kit.

great to see someone being different and pursuing their own route.. please give us more details on the adapter plate.. and what actuator that is.. what is the actuator mounted to? and why not grab a set of AWE manifolds and squeeze in a set of tial 38mm? Looks like they could be squeezed in there and the benefits of going external seem way more appealing, especially with this amount of fabrication..

regardless, great job! keep up the good work and keep us updated!

I choose the stock manifold b/c it's the cheapest way to go, they don't realy affect the performance, and they are isolate (double wall) it's the reason why apr keept them for there stage3 and same reason for boost engineering.
Louis at boost engineering use to sell kits for europe and must be street legal b/c they get inspected every years. As you can see my kit is legal. I have high flow cats and everything. And again this is a kit, not a built.

Like i told before, idon't want that hard core thing. As you can see, i have high flow cats b/c i don't want my car to smell like an old chevy nova and stock manifold wont crack. I want the car the sleepest as possible. We have new law overhere. If you pass 37 mph over limit you get 700$ ticket and 10 points, just ask Guruman hes living not far from me. But the kit is very potential. It's derated to 500hp crank b/c of my stock internal. I don't want to get near 600hp and bent a rod. Maybe i'll get a set of rod next year.

Did you see the golf in pics above? This is the boost engineering owner race car. He use to run in high 8s quater miles with this. This car have a vr6 with rods, pistons, cams, lifters, no more coolant ( ceramic instead ) and a f..king big turbo.

I think the Tial kit works the same way on stock mani ? I though the stock mani will restrict the flow of the turbo.

If you look at the stock manifold they are very very small.. i would say max for a k04 turbo.

There web page is still not up to date. And he said that he don't have time to update it for now. Boost engineering choosed the stock manifold for the same reason as APR. take a look.http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/why_27ts3.html

Only custom program in tcu. It will change pressure, change pulse width modulation on valve body and change oil. I have very good sourse from tranny guys that said tip are build for war. The guy selling the kit knows alot of thos tranny. His 8sec golf vr6 is with modified auto tranny. the only thing that could break is that stupid lock up oil seal wich is a job of 400$

APR says the reason they use stock manifolds is "The factory decided to use the S4 exhaust manifolds in the RS4 and we chose to do the same for this kit."

They're talking about K04 turbos specifically...

also, no surprise, AWE says the opposite of APR...

    http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/...comparison.pdf

They say their primary runners are 15% larger than stock and sufficient for ~475hp (again, for K04s not GT's).

I'm curious to see the results with the stock manifolds, hopefully sticking with smaller GT's will help.

I realy believe what Louis is doing. He done a lot of kits and he runs 1000 hp vr6. Only numbers will tell. Look to the web site still not up to date but a lot of different kits. The cars always dyno'd what he promiced.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but we have similar setups, though my motor is completely built. I am running the TiAL R650 GT kit, which also uses the stock manifolds, GT28 series components, and similar fueling. The 5HP19FLA absolutely will not survive the kind of power you will make. Mine gave up after a couple of hundred miles. (I lost 4th and 5th gears, probably due to failure of the E clutch pack.)

I have a custom TCU which is also optimized for higher line pressure and valve body pulse width. My lock up seal has been retrofitted as well. Several people have broken these gearboxes with K04s alone.

Good luck, man.. Thank you for being a pioneer.
