I have to replace the ecs, the rotors are loose on the hats and the guys at vag told me all the kits they installed had that problem

As far as being better, that would be a matter of perspective. The OEM RS4 brakes are 8 piston Brembo monoblocks with 365mm vented rotors. Everything is 100% plug and play.

Someone had B7 RS4 front brakes for sale on the classifieds here for a while and I don't remember them listed as sold. Probably worth searching back.

The only real downside to them is that wheel fitment can be a bear. You must have 18" wheels at the minumum with a offset of about 25

Calipers are the same however the carriers are different (calipers and carriers come together)

RS6 and RS4 rotors are totally different.

I cannot confirm nor deny that. When I visually saw the calipers, they looked compatible. It may be worth a shot, the worst thing that could happen is you will have to buy the calipers.

Matrix Integrated installed a set of USP wheels on a car with 370mm Alcons, I believe they had to use 10mm spacers, the 370mm Alcons should have the same fitment as the RS4 Brakes

A few of the items need to be entered twice (rotors & splash shields) the last item may or may not be needed, it is the securing parts (clips) for the brake pads, they are supposed to come with the pads but often they are left out of the box.

I highly doubt much if anything is better than the larger Alcon's or the new Brembo M caliper kits

what I like about the oem one is that it's a true floating system rather than a hole and screws that hold the disk on the hat
most likely alcon is the best one but at almost 4000$ come on
