Custom Exhaust....help?

I cant decide whether to finish my exhasut the rest of the way back to the downpipes with just 2.5" piping or 2.5" piping and an x-pipe...what would the benefits or consequences of the x-pipe? thanks.

I would keep the x-pipe in there... The way I look at it is that the engineers put it there for a reason, and they know more than me, so I'll keep it... lol

I believe the x-pipe enhances flow by allowing two paths for the gas to follow. Not sure if this is a very scientific explanation, but I'm sure a search on Google can get that cleared up..lol

the x-pipe balances out the flow from each cylinder bank and I THINK reduces drone.
