FS: new vmaxx coilovers b5 a4 quattro

I just bought a set of Vmaxx coilovers, put them in and have less than 1k on them. I need to sell them. My clutch is slipping and that is more important than being low. These are great, you can drop the car to the ground, or leave it at almost a stock height. They arnt super stiff so you dont feel every single bump in the road like a more expensive set. I love em and will own another set when money is there.

I bought these brand new less than a week ago from the factory, I paid 630 shipped to my door. I'd like to get around 580 for them, that is about what my new clutch set up is going to cost. There is nothing worng with these, they come with all the new paperwork, wrenches even in the box they came in.

I'll take pics if people need em but everyone know what coil overs look like.

So you say the ride quality is good compared to other coilovers, similar to a sport cup kit?

You paid $630 and want $580? seems kinda high for used IMO. Also, is that a little corrosion I spy? seems odd for only a week old!

pretty sure the corrosion is on the part of the suspension that bolts to the frame not the coilovers themselves... but agreed 580 is a bit high.

I'll give you $450 plus shipping Paypal right now. I can get them new for $600. I think it's resonable to take a 25% hit on used parts. Money is waitng.......

Re: FS: new vmaxx coilovers b5 a4 quattro

I want 580 shipped for these, it is going to cost me 35 bucks to ship them. Would you rather me ask 545 + shipping? The ones on ebay are 599+33 bucks shipping. That is where I bought these. I'm not sure of the corrosion your talking about, but it could be dust we haven't had a good rain in a week and a half.

I've never riden in a car with a cup kit, but the ride is great. It isn't super stiff like other C/O setups I've owned. But it is a bit stiffer than stock.

I've been considering buying a set of these, but your price would have to come down alot to make the risk worth it here. (no recourse via -anything in the event there is something wrong, and they are USED. $400-$425 and I'd be interested.
any idea what the spring rates are?

If you find something worng with them, put em back in the mail. I will refund you what you paid me-what it cost me to ship them. There is nothing worng with these. I may only have one ring, but check my post count on vortex(mainer0311) or on ebay(mainer1234). I dont sell something that isn't what i'm selling.

dont wanna lowball but seeing as you need these gone to fund the clutch i can offer 500 shipped right now

also im guessing these are already aligned and adjusted properly since you drove them on the road, what settings / height did you have these on when you used them? stock wheels?

i dont want to have to adjust them too much if i buy them ... i mean i can, but coils are such a pain sometimes :p
