    Rad leak advice please

Hey guys I have a little bit of a leak in my rad somewhere. This beast is a 1.8tqm and the leak seems to be kind of sporadic however I am noticing it more now that it is getting warm, which makes sense. It seems to be somewhere in the passenger side near the bottom but its very very slow like 6 hours of parking somewhere and I might have a quarter sized puddle develop

    Two questions:
Any known issues or likely places it would start to leak that I can look for
And I have been told there are products out there that basically do the same as the egg in a rad. Little copper pellets or something that one dumps in the rad and they plug up any little leaks so I'm wondering if anyone knows the name and does it harm the internals?

Thanks guys any help would be awesome

If you have such a tiny leak like that, then most likely the problem is a bad seal, rather than a cracked radiator.

Check the Engine temperature sensor, which is located on the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side of the car. The sensor is held in by a plastic clip...the O-ring on that sensor might be brittle by now and ever so slowly leaking out coolant!

Thanks for the reply man, however the leak is on the passenger side... I'm quite familiar with the system as I had to take it all apart when I did the timing belt. But point taken, I shall investigate all the seals as it could just be making its way across the front and simply dripping out that side.
    Again thanks man
