Anyone know a shop in NJ where I can get my coilover rebuild. It seems to be blown and I want this done quickly. Anywhere in central/south Jersey or Philly area will do.

wow no idea, I know it takes forever when you send one out tho, maybe ask the manufacturer if you can order one for the full price and get a refund when the old one gets to them? I wouldnt imagine a shock/strut could be too expensive though

    Re: Coilover rebuild

I tried that when I called Koni, the guy was no help. When he told me Koni's turn around time was 5 weeks, I asked for the price of a new one to compare what would be the better option since I just got my wheels and I am just about ready to put all my parts on my car. He actually told me it was too much work for him to find out the price of a new one.

For the record, the going rate for Koni approved shops are $110 plus parts to repair with turn around time being 2-5 weeks, Koni taking the longest time.

If anyone knows of a place in the tri-state, they don't have to be Koni approved, just know what they are doing because turn around time is most important to me right now, PLEASE let me know. Thanks

im sure they have aut dealers around her and there thta can rebuild them. you really dont have to sent it to them i think. if its just koni shocks then im sure there are suspension shops that have parts to fix them.

    Re: Coilover rebuild

Too late, sent it out yesterday. After asking around on here and people I knew, I really had no other choice. I sent it to Truechoice in Ohio, only a 2 week turnaround . Stay tuned for the pics of my beast in about 2 weeks, maybe you'll see me onthe road. I'll be the only B6 USP with the most unique 20's you've ever seen.
