Transmision problem !! HELP!!

hello!! well i have a auto trans and i was trying to use the tiptronic but i can down shift but the up shift does not work !! please need help!!
if i use it it just get in the gear than runing ! eg: 1 gear

my did the same thing... you need a new transmision module.. you need to fix that before you start not reversing when you put it in reverse.. i have a 03 too... i just got my car back yesterday.... it will run you 2000.. you can only get that part in germany.. if you have warranty you be lucky....

yupp for just a small lil module... $2000... i only paid 100bill for mine cuz i have a warranty plus the labor dude ill cost you alot more.. at least 2500

transmission control module #01j-927-156-ff not sure about that one im just looking at the service invoice that the dealer give me... but i think you should go to you audi dealer let them look at it... they tell you what you need... cuz mine they check it for free.... what kind of a4 do you have anyways is 1.8tq?? cuz mine just a 1.8t 03

that particular part number is $1021 from genuinevwaudiparts.com. so if someone knows how to DIY one of these it's over a grand saved.

well i have a fwd trans so maybe the mdule will be cheaper!!!

i dont know about cheaper but yeah just check whats wrong with it with the audi dealership i think theyll check it for you for free... then if you can find a cheaper parts for it then thats good. make sure that your going to a shop thats deals with german cars cuz they mite break your car even more... yeah mine fwd too.. what i heard about the b6 models is the best one is the 04 models...cuz they fix every thing thats wrong with the b6 line up.
