    Fog mod for the B7...

Is there a way to do the fog mod by using the fuse box? I had this setup on an older C5 A6 where I could have my fog lights run independently from the low beams.

I'd did the fog mod for my B6 but they stayed on all the time from when you turn the ignition on. I used the Canadian soft code but I want to control when to turn them on.

    Can anyone help?

Search the DIY. There is a DIY on this. You can run your city lights and fogs at the same time. Takes some basic rewiring, and not on the fuse box. It's on the wire harness connected up to the light switch.

Re: Fog mod for the B7...

Awesome. I had tried to get my tuner shop to use the VAG-Com to program the fogs with the amber corner lights. They were able to get it to work but it messed with all my other headlight settings so I had them reset the codes. Are the B6 and B7 headlight controls the same? Also, I saw that once you do the copper and the tape, you still have to VAG-Com the "rest of world" code. Would that be... ###21? for Bi-Xenon with DRL and "rest of world." I got that based off of the FAQ thread. Oh yeah, I know nothing about coding with the VAG-Com if you haven't figured that out already... I was just trying to have the code ready so that when I bring it to the shop they can code it. Thanks!

###21 looks right, but i didn't VAG mine, and i've got halogens :( Give it a shot, just remember to write down the original values so if it isn't right you can return it to stock.
