What did some of you guys pay for yours? And wheres a good place to buy?

AFAIK I was to first one to do it back in 2003. Both front and rear S4 bumpers fit without ANY problems. I got mine through my dealership.

I got mine from the AZ classifieds. Super rare to find an S4 Avant rear used. $300 plus paint plus the black trim strip $60something.

Recently had mine done through my body shop since someone rear ended me. Most people just get it through the dealer or a online retailer. Genuineaudiparts.com comes to mind.

what's the sctual stock color, is it more like a gray? I was under the assumption that the valence was already black.

Nice! I want to black out my audi sport frame next, matching the lower valence better. Still debating on the strip that runs across the top of the bumper...

My painter and I took the paint chips out to my car and found a shade of black that matches the window trim and roof rails. I'm very happy with how it came out.

lol, maybe you have. beginning from this March, my car looked quite different from time to time. 1 month I drove aroudn without front bumper. another month my tails arent tinted. and i just recently put on the spoiler.
we can meet up sometime when i am done.

If you are installing a North American S4 rear bumper you can use your A4 rebar.

If you are installing a European S4 rear bumper you need a shorter rebar.

All you need to install a NA S4 rear bumper is the bumper cover and the trim strip up to. Its simple. We've discussed this many times here. Unfortunately you can't search "S4" so I can understand why this thread has come up again.....

s4 and a4 rebar is the same. it is usp that you have to change if you are looking to put usp rear on an a4. but s4 ftw

remanufactured bumpers are alright. you want to see some actual pictures of the remanufactured bumper because you want to look at some key areas so you will know that the bumper will work.
besides, i havent heard anyone who bought bumpers from this site.
just spend a little more for a piece of mind and you will have amazing qualities.
dont save money on bumpers or you will deal with headaches

agreed. The reason its so cheap is because its aftermarket parts. If the fitment is so horrible you may be putting so much money into the bumper to get them to fit right that it would cost the same amount to buy an oem bumper from the start.
