Suspension issue

Okay here is my problem. I "believe" when i bought my car 2004 a41.8t i purchased the sport package which has sport suspension. At the time i didn't notice but I met with a fellow ziner and he has an a4 with 2002 suspension.. the height difference is way too different i mean litteraly 4x4 superlifts coilovers vs the real deal mode. So I'm starting to think i don't have sport suspension at all. Stealership?! i need to find my purchase papers/invoice... and my warranty is over. So i hope if its true that i don't have sport suspension they will do something about this.

sport shocks are red, non sport is black! i cant see the picutre of what you have.
keep in mind, when you go bigger wheels, the gap between the tire and the fender is shown more!

I think you actually both have sport suspensions fron the pics but one is the 02 (lower one). The other could still be sport but the newer version with the higher springs. Non sport is major 4x4. I have an 05 and it came with sport (positive on this) and it looked similar to the silver car pictured. The blue car could have sagged springs too or possibly cut?? or maybe he put lowering springs in and is pulling your leg :) In all honesty the blue car looks low for stock sport.

Edit: I just looked at some old phots of my ride and you're car is non sport....it's pretty high.

hmm i see.. well thanks for the input... but i'll check it out..
i have other friends with 2004 a4 sport suspensions with 18" but sit still noticably higher than theirs

BTW my car is the silver car

EDIT hmm i posted this in my regional thread and someone says its sport and he gave a link of his 2004 a4 with sports and he says it looks just like mine

Edit: okay i checked black shocks/black springs its NON-sport....i swore i bought sportpackage i gotta double check now... and maybe the dealership owes me a suspension upgrade now

You know I was wondering about this the other day. My co-worker has a red 2003 3.0 V6 model with unpainted grey lower body and his sits 1 inch lower than my 2005 1.8 sport model. He says his is also a sport model and he has never done anything to it. I am positive mine is a sport because the window sticker said so when i bought it. I wish my car has the same lower stance as his...

hmm yes well i found out its nonsport but will look into my invoice to make sure i paid for a sport package...

To be honest, I think that 2002 models came the lowest out of all of them. 2003-2005 are a lot higher. I have an 02 with sport suspension and it sits exactly like the picture you showed in the first post. I think yours is about the right height.

I think this is myth that keeps getting repeated as fact. I have a 2005 1.8t Avant with Ultrasport that is just as low as the 2002 blue A4 pictured in this thread.

That silver car can't be sport.
