Suspension issue

Okay here is my problem. I "believe" when i bought my car 2004 a41.8t i purchased the sport package which has sport suspension. At the time i didn't notice but I met with a fellow ziner and he has an a4 with 2002 suspension.. the height difference is way too different i mean litteraly 4x4 superlifts coilovers vs the real deal mode. So I'm starting to think i don't have sport suspension at all. I need to find my purchase papers/invoice... and my warranty is over. So i hope if its true that i don't have sport suspension they will do something about this.

Nope, yours looks about right. Here is my 2004 when I first got it on stock sport suspension.




The guy with the 2002 A4 is either pulling your leg or the earlier versions of the sport suspension was really low. I'm now sitting on Vogtland coilovers at 25.25" all around and it looks just like the blue Audi.

well i dunno i get mixed answer from several people saying its sport and some non sport

someone said sport have RED shocks and BLACK springs

i posted this in the b6 forum as well and i still get mixed answer. I believe your a4 is 3.0t but not that it matters..

Yep that's what I had. But to be sure find out what the sport suspension part numbers are and then compare it to what you have.

hmm how do i find that information out? i'm gonna go down in a minute to check the colour of the shocks/springs

EDIT: okay i just checked unforunately black shocks/springs....non sport....

i swear i bought sportpackage i need to find those papers.... argh

It appears that the 2002 sport suspension was lower than the later years' sport suspension.

yeah..i have black/black.. so its non sport...
pretty sure i bought sportpackage so gonna find my papers and if its right gonna take it up with the dealer that sold me the car. They must do something about it... its breach of contract i believe...

You have the same thing as me. Sports rims, no sport suspension.

that is definitely non-sport. that is exactly what my '03 looked like before i put on sport suspension (also from '03). click link in signature to see sport suspension.

Oh, that'll be tricky if you have paper work showing you paid for it... Eek.

I've got 02 sport suspension that I'll be posting for sale soon. It truly is quite low.
