MTM ECU Stage 1....general feelings from ya'll

i picked up a MTM ECU stage one the other day for next to nothing. i have yet to plug it in and see what i get.

i was wondering if anyone has or has had the unit in their S4 and what they thought about it.

I don't really see why it matters what everybody else thinks. Why don't you just go plug it in and see for yourself rather than wasting your time on a forum waiting for others to reply?

I love my MTM Stage One chip, nice smooth power, doesnt make as much power as others out there, but is very smooth.

I agree with quattroaudi. I have this and it is smooth and great for everyday driving. Definatly not the most aggressive out there.

I have mtm stage 1 and I love it. My s4 is my daily, and it seems perfect for that. What other people said above me though, it is a difference from stock but smooth, Giac and some of the other companies are a little more aggressive.

If I were you, I'd get the GIAC X chip. Incredibly powerful and easy to resell. Your turbos will go someday, why not have fun with them?

My car was chipped at 135k miles, and it now has 144k. Turbos still pull hard, but I do have K04s on deck just in case.
