Installed STERN mounts now getting crazy vibrations??

I recently installed the STERN power ring and rear diff bushings, and now my car vibrates at higher speed when I give it gas. Is this normal? Definetly feel the diffrence with the new hardware, but the vibrations got me worried.

Did you start the car up and let it idle, then adjust the housing so the snub mount is centered in side of the housing?

Snub mount? I did the power ring and rear diff bushings. I duno I just follwed the instructions that came with them.

Sorry about that I guess saw the "Stern" and "vibration" I then thought snub mount.

I dont get any vibration with the power ring and bushings on my car even at 140+ mph. Could be that you have something that is unbalanced and you are just notice it now with the car being a little stiffer.

Didn't I ship those stern parts a few months ago?

my car is the worst in 4th gear @ 2800rpm. its almost like a harmonic vibration feeling. nothing too bad. but there is noticeable vibrations created by the mounts. its hard to describe though. and i should say "was noticeable" because i really dont feel them much anymore. probably just used to them.

if you are getting a vibration vibration then you may have a problem.

try running a good quality gear oil in the diff. see if that helps some. it helped a lot on my car. but i think that might also have had something to do w/ the leaky pinion seal i fixed. so fluid actually stays inside the diff now. haha.

Mine has the same vibrations in 4th gear, and it is only in 4th gear. I have not replaced the rear diff fluid yet. And mine does not leak any fluid. What kind of rear diff fluid did yall use?
