    Proper Hub Centric Rings Install

I am installing OZ rims that came with the proper Metal Hub Centric Rings.
The Problem is I don't know which way the things should be installed.
Instinct says the Flat part should face the rotor, However when looking at the factory rims and the feel of the hubcentric rings on the rotor with the flat part going into the rim it feels like a better fit, as though the alignment is on the centre of the rotor hub that sticks out and not the part closet to the Bolt Face.
I await some wisdom from the forum before I continue.

honestly it shouldnt be that hard. just pop the ring into the rim until its flush/flat and mount it. my hubring can only go in one way. so unless u got some weird design, play with it and you'll figure it out.

I agree it shouldn't be that tough, But my rings go both ways, call them 'Bi' if you want to but I tested both ways and both work.

The reason I think that the unconventional way may be right is because if I put the rings in so that the Flat part goes towards the rim then the contact patch of the hub ring matches that of the stock rims (a little further from the rotor face). Otherwise the contact patch of the hub ring is closer to the rotor face which in theory could change the dynamics of the force applied to the wheel.

I concur, I have been playing with it for a while and my instinct, i think, is correct.
No reason why it shouldn't go in as originally intended.
    No further input required, thanks.
