    crack sounds from spring area

    when im parked on a hill (mostly facing downhill) and take off sowly (or go in reverse) i hear a crack sound coming from my wheel/spring area//everytime the car uses the springs.. it makes this clung sound....also when i break hard i hear it sometimes..

    is this the famous bad control arms?
    or maybe springs/struts ?

    hmm sometimes it seems that the sound comes from underneath the pedals..

    Not sure how Audi suspension works, but for most imports, that sounds like too much pre-load on the spring and its binding.
