    Yes. But you'll need a plug for one of the holes that the DV goes into.

    You could use a PVC plug from Home Depot and no lag issues.

    So when the throttle shuts the boost has somewhere to go other then back into the turbo, ultimately beating the bearings out of it.

    I thought the diverter releases back into the airbox which then goes back into the turbo to keep it spooled between gears?

    Nope, it does not go back into the airbox, it goes into the TIP after the MAF. Has nothing to do with how fast the car spools between shifts on our setup. If he were pushing 30 psi with a huge intercooler and piping (large volume of air to replace) and a large BOV like a Tial, there may be an issue.

    The only real issue that he may run into with that BOV is that under vaccum it may or may not let unmetered air into the intake tract. If this is the case the car may not idle quite correctly.
