Tail Tint

Ok so im wanna get my tails tinted but i want to see some different 2 shade styles. Im Thinking real dark on the red part and then a light tint on the clear part. My color is dolphin grey. let me get some feedback post the best tail tint pics.

i hate smoked tail lights sorry they don't look that good on audi

Personally I think the lamin-x shades are all too dark. I ordered samples of their tint a while back to test out the shades. Their lightest shade looked ok on the clear part, but still blacked out the red.

The best results I've seen are using VHT lense spray, sanding it to the desired transparency, then spraying clear over it for a smooth look/touch.

Smoked tails are euro and tasteful. Blacked-out tails look like garbage...on any car...minus the batmobile.
