    limp mode =/

    so like i said in a previous post, i have my new chip and was boosting at 25psi for some reason. then it was starting to level out but now i beleive it went into limp mode... 5psi. how exactly do i get out of limp mode. im sad

    I would love to vag it but dont want to spend the money to buy the unit. Autozone can check my does and such but theres no way to get out of limp mode any other way... Ughhh i hate driving to get my codes cleared

    well if you take to autozone, it should be able to get you the codes at least.

    then write them down and search for those codes here AZ and that should fix your problem.

    make sure that you have them give you the codes and not just erase them.

    what kind of chip did your purchase? 25psi?!?! you better not get on it until you fix the problem

    25psi is fine i ran 26 on my K03 and K04. and second youre 99.5 you dont have a limp mode

    I think only drive by wire have limp mode and 99.5 was still drive by cable.

    Might want to search for "nDBW limp." It'll tell you what you need to know about pre 99.5's having limp...

    the only reason why i called it limp mode was because i went from 25 and such to steady 5psi and thats it

    my guess is the n75 since that will cause you to only hit 5psi if it goes bad

    by any chance could a bad DV o-ring cause the same issues? cause when i lubed the dv last time, the o ring seemed stretched a little and got catch once when i was testing to see the suction

    Of course... They don't have a MAP sensor, so they don't know what they are boosting... However, it is possible that he ran lean due to high boost and is now in limp because of being lean...

    yes but i wouldnt do that. adjusting the nut on the wasteagate will shorten the life of the turbo. so what can i possibly do to fix my boosting issue? i will be getting my codes read 2mm but i will say that i got them checked and cleared yesterday to see if my air bag light would go out b4 i get my inspection and when checked, there were no codes from the car. hopefully i get something 2mm so that i can see what the problem is. if there are no codes tho what should i expect the issue to be?

    so just now its hitting 10psi now lol... is this probably N75 issue or DV? or any other ideas? i got the codes read and there arent any
